And today I turned off my account at Elon’s House of Trump aka X.

I’m back here and on Threads too.
You know the Cowboys are an embarrassment to Dallas this season when they’re getting torn up by the Houston Texans.

Guess the show.

Why I love the Onion. Because they can come and take down a crackpot hate-spewing asshole like Alex Jones. Looking forward to the new and improved Infowars.

On Thursday night I shut my X account down after five years of continuous use for the most part. Don’t need the increased blood pressure from dealing with Elon’s Truth Social Annex anymore. Feel free to add me.

CEOs: "I should be paid bonuses based on my performance. If I do something that makes the company a lot of money, I should be able to look at the numbers that prove that and share in a portion of the success."

ACTORS & WRITERS: "What about us?"

CEOs: "No. Not you. Fuck you."

Tonight’s classic film on VHS. Robert Altman’s MASH. MASH was one of the 50 titles that Fox licensed to Magnetic Video in 1977, launching the home video revolution. This particular release was a 1979 reissue. The original 1977 release uses one of the worst transfers and is nearly unwatchable.

Enterprise Season 4 was pretty decent because of Manny Coto.
Sad news today — STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE writer/producer and Season 4 showrunner Manny Coto has passed away at age 62

Close to the end of MASH Season 6, which sent Frank Burns home and brought us Charles Emerson Winchester III and marked the transition to mostly dramedy.

Have the oddsmakers in Vegas come up with a prediction of how long it will be before Elon’s purchase of that other site turn into $44 billion flushed down the crapper?

Currently on MASH Season 4. In comes B.J. and Colonel Potter.

It’s at this time you can tell when the series starts to transition into a dramedy, albeit slowly.

(1) A little piece of cinematic oddity: Superman in its initial home video release from 1979 on VHS. This version runs approximately 16 minutes shorter than it should. In the early days of home video, the technology wasn't up to fit long movies onto one cassette.

Those of us on Bluesky watching Threads expecting this to occur.

Also applies to those of us watching Twitter right now.

As I’m on vacation I’m making my way through MASH at a fast pace. I’m on Season 3, which ends with Henry Blake getting sent home…only for viewers to be reminded at the end that war is hell.

I like it here on Bluesky. Especially as I find more of my Twitter followers and friends here.

I will still be on that sinking ship until it dies or I piss off a conservative troll to the point where it costs me my account. But expect me to post here too.

Tonight’s late movie “Deliverance”.

Thinking about a Burt Reynolds film festival. Except I’d have to pull my Blu-ray of “Cannonball Run” off the shelf since it hasn’t been on iTunes.

Closed out tonight with “Smokey and the Bandit II”. A totally unnecessary sequel but somewhat decent.

Unlike the third Bandit film which nobody asked for…..

Speaking of MASH, name some Star Trek alumni who also appeared on MASH.

I'll give you one already: David Odgen Stiers, who was Major Winchester on MASH, and Dr. Timicin in TNG "Half a Life" from S4.
Finished up DS9 yesterday. Taking a little break inbetween Trek series by going on my annual viewing of M*A*S*H from the beginning.

Next after MASH, Voyager.....
