Been playing a lot of puzzle games lately along with being part of the beta testing for a neat game called #Heartopia. It's been giving me ideas for systems I want to implement in my own projects... If I can figure out how.

My dad finds it weird that the brand of the fiber bars I eat sometimes is 'No Cow' because cows are my favorite animal.

Doing some minor #gamedev planning while waiting on a call from a friend. I'm just fleshing out my lists of things I want to include, including non-magic skills for the different classes/characters. Been trying to come up with creative buff/debuff skills and spells and think I got a few good ones!

When people complain "authors should name their characters something I can say"
I just want all of you to understand that my name is Lev and my husband's name is Aleksei and 70% of Americans cannot say either of those names right even when they are repeating it after us

Don't you love when friends give you ideas without meaning to? My friend was jokingly giving me ideas of how to 'battle for my honor' when someone corrected my word usage. Now trying to figure out if I can use any of them as mini games/plot points for #gamedev!

I was using my translation app with my aide and finally noticed that in Spanish, 'Soy' means 'I am'.
So now I think the term soybean is funny because it's just saying 'I am bean'.

Trying to do some #gamedev by learning Tiled with a mix of documentation, a video for using it with RPGMaker, and my wits that apparently don't exist. I am so confused... Maybe I should work on this later on. -.-

Somehow, my #gamedev for this month is starting off with something I'm used to doing for my writing: researching weird things I feel are necessary to make things feel more cohesive... Like plants that grow in certain biomes to help name medicinal items and such. -.-

I have mixed feelings about my allergy eye drops.
Do they help my eyes stop feeling uncomfortable? Yes.
Do they give me the same icky taste in my mouth after using them that I got with the nasal spray of the same medication that I refuse to use anymore? Also yes. (Got a different one don't worry)

Can anyone tell me if the bit of Norse mythology mixed into Clash of the Titans was on purpose? I've been rewatching it and am both enjoying it and a bit miffed about their way of including the Norns... Though it was funny that they even did that.

I don’t have a million readers, but the ones I have are priceless to me. I hustle to give them a book every year and half or so, but I always want them to read great stuff, so I recommend it. Constantly. Not recommending stuff by other writers makes no sense to me.
