Wishy washy statements by various world leaders about US illegal kidnapping of Venezuela president are foolish and cowardly. You don't stop despotic actions by the US by appeasing a dictator. He will eat you anyway. Now is the time to stand up for principles, but I fear very few are doing it.

Is there a reason I ask that the Times are using a picture of asylum seekers in a boat to describe rules for migrants who came on legal routes such as skilled worker visas for doctors?
Tough new conditions to be imposed on migrants who want to settle in the UK will not apply to more than a million people who arrived in the UK under the post-Brexit immigration surge

One of the unexpected things I've learned from my advocacy for trans people is how malignant parts of the State can be, how it can misuse data for positively evil purposes. It's taught me people can't be safe with a digital ID card and so I've signed this. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/73...
