Shocking! Evicting this very important climate lab from its New York office is the latest act of war against science by the Trump administration. Ultimately, no economy can flourish while neglecting science. This is barbarian. Full solidarity with all GISS personnel! #WarAgainstScience
NASA’s iconic Goddard Institute for Space Studies—home to Jim Hansen and hundreds more scientists, creator of the GISS model and keeper of the global temperature record—has been evicted from its longstanding NYC office above the “Seinfeld” restaurant.

Why? The government told them to move out.

This should be in top media headlines everywhere. Humanity clearly moves in the wrong direction: adding more and more thermal insulation around the planet, which is already too warm! It is urgent to decarbonise our economies and ways of life. #ClimateEmergency

Governments of rich countries need to understand that investing money in climate action today will cost much less over time than waiting for the bill that Nature will send us if we continue to mistreat her.
COP30 in Bélem will need to deliver much more.

As of today, Elon Musk is thought to be responsible for the death of 300,000 adults and kids due to the illegal closure of USAID (source: www.impactcounter.com/dashboard?vi...)

That's a 103 deaths per hour, each day. And it will get worse.

His legacy is one of death, destruction, and failure.

Thankfully, the village was evacuated already, but one person is missing and everyone else’s homes are destroyed.

Make no mistake: this is a climate disaster.
