I'm pretty upset about Instagram and threads update, I don't like the idea of a companies TOS allowing forms of hate speech just because they want to protect people's right to be cruel and transphobic/racist.

I am so happy today. Had great bread, 1st day of my weekend after a 9 day work week. Made some shrimp and scallop white linguine and my mother did the dishes without even being asked!

I work on the pride team for one of the biggest corporations in Canada and we're going to be doing a book club drop in meeting monthly.
If anyone has suggestion for queer LGBTQ+ stories, fiction and non fiction that we could consider suggesting or highlighting in this club I'd appreciate!

Mine has always been dialogue, I love using it to show how characters think and who they are, so much so I worry I write too much dialogue.

Anyone else a pantser that wishes to be a plotter. I've done Brandon Sandersons online courses for outlining, followed a book, followed the methods of a diff author. Every time I plot out an outline of can't sit myself down to write it. The words no longer come. Its wild

I've had a couple writers recently withdraw immediately saying they signed with another agent, so I thought I'd do a mini chat on what's expected once you receive an offer.
1) thank the offering agent. Let them know you still have materials out and ask for 2 weeks to make your decision.
