Not sure how many scientists here have tried Claude Code or similar command line coding assistants. I had a complicated family property tax problem that was best solved by a brute force Monte Carlo simulation approach, so I spent a few days coding up and analyzing a model with Claude Code.

1) Why % of GDP is a reasonable measure of defense capabilities? Let's use 5% of GDP for swords made of pure gold - is that effective defense?
2) Shouldn't Article 5 imply that NATO countries can spend less, not more, on defense than others, since all members should help in case of an invasion?

Tämä on toistunut niin usein, että epäilen, että pääsyy tähän on virkamiehistön puutteellinen tutkijakoulutus.

On niin vaikea arvioida, niin asetetaanpa kerroin reilusti tyypillisen vaihteluvälin ulkopuolelta ilman mitään perusteluita... Jos on vaikea arvioida niin kannattaisiko sitten tukeutua aiempiin tutkimuksiin?

Korkeakoulujen aloituspaikkoja ei voi mitenkään tolkullisesti lisätä kertaluontoisella rahoituksella, vaan siihen tarvitaan nimenomaan perusrahoituksen kasvattamista. Sisäänotettua opiskelijaa pitää palvella 5+ vuotta, tarvitaan pysyvä lisäys opetushenkilöstöön.
