Deloitte caught in false claim it owned up to AI in tainted report.

It told finance it had explained the cause of errors to DEWR.

False - initially it used the same snow job it tried on the media "oh just some errors in citation".

Idk how Threads can be growing... I checked in on there for the first time in ages and it's dead.
'A NYT zine piece in DEC 2024 said despite the post-election surge in Bluesky traffic, the platform never became as “robust (read: fun)” as X, where the “jokes & ideas are more polished” & users can find “more up-to-the-minute analysis” on news & cultural moments.'

Bluesky Usage Down Nearly 40% Year After Election—Threads, Trump’s Truth Social See Gains
Bluesky, a liberal-leaning social platform that welcomed hordes of users disillusioned by Elon Musk’s X, hasn’t sustained its surge in activity after President Donald Trump won a second term.

Says a lot of The Australian's world view that "celebrating trans experience" is "extreme" and needs a counterpoint apparently.

I had to listen to John Laws for three hours almost every day for three years for work while I was studying journalism.

Such a weird time of life. But definitely built up resistance levels for that sort of thing.

After managing to avoid a cold or flu all winter, I've been sick all weekend. I binged that All Her Fault series..it's was...fine. A bit silly at the end.

I feel like they've just decided red-headed Australian women are best in those "troubled rich white woman" stories.

So weird to see the Sky News logo on this sort of story (the separate Australian outlet benefits from this kind of boosting, and tailors the online content for that purpose).

The name change is due soon. tvtonight.com.au/2025/08/sky-...
