There is unfortunately a LOT of homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny, and ignorance still alive and well in the Magic the Gathering space as well as other fandoms. Our job as a community is to keep these individuals out of spaces we create. Call them out when you see them. Be the change. ✊🏾

I don't know how much people know but Minneapolis has the largest Somali population in the US (something like 90% are citizens iirc), the second largest Hmong population (again really high percentage are citizens), and a fucking vibrant as fuck hispanic community. They have so many options to attack

I've seen a lot of concern about staying within the "rules" of each bracket; and would like to reiterate that these are not rules. They are the average expectations of players in that kind of game. If your deck doesn't meet those expectations, you can ALWAYS mention it to adjust those expectations.
No major changes to the Brackets this time, but we've been working on clarifying some of the ~*vibes~* around each Bracket, including adding "safe turns" and delineating expectations for decks, win conditions, and gameplay.
We've also removed tutor restriction from 1 & 2.

The quoted post is very infuriating. You cannot like something. You can debate the quality of something. You can even miss a previous state of the game where it suit ya fancy or be nostalgic of that state. When that leads you to dehumanize someone though...that just really shitty gatekeeping.
