As I see pictures of the Demolition of the White House in the USA, I'm floored by how silent people are on the symbolism of this action.
The White House has been a symbol of America, & Democracy in general, for a long time. Trump tearing it down, while ignoring the Constitution, is a stark image.

Stop doing what American republicans did with Trump. Stop assuming he means anything different than what he flat out is saying. No one says bat💩 crazy stuff to win votes unless they mean it.
Bare in mind that Poilievre is in campaign mode and is trying to appeal to a number of far right leaning voters in BR-C, in Alberta. He may well be serious about some totalitarian sentiments, but feels he can’t afford to have some voters think he’s too “woke”. #CDNpoli
