The real alternative isn’t the LNP, it’s a minority government where Labor is forced to do stuff *most voters want* like improve transparency, have an effective integrity commission, tax fossil fuel companies, curtail sports gambling advertising, and have an EPA

That'll be reversed as soon as it's convenient. You can't trust their future promises to buy favour.
Greyhound racing ditched too - phase out by 2029. Was thinking if one good thing might come out of this impass at least we might get rid of greyhound racing. Will Labor match? #politas

Yep. That'll be reversed well before '29.
Not any time soon with the Member for Federal Group as party leader.

Speaking from Australia, I think PR is by far the fairest way to elect representatives. It's fair and works really well here.

You're kidding me aren't you? Have you seen their charges for NDIS compared to normal rates.
The recent pricing decision by the NDIA has hit many occupational therapists hard. It comes amid rising costs and high rates of burnout.

Albo will wrangle a bunch of Indies before he touches a Green.
Just watched the interview with Adam Bandt on #adternoonbriefing .

He is really storming home and Albo doing the whiny bureaucrat routine in Griffith today while Adam counters with lines like "dumpster fire of bad ideas", makes the prospect of ALP relying on The Greens ... interesting.

For all that, I still won't vote for them till they show some integrity re NACC etc. It's Indy's from now on for me.
Govt isn’t perfect, but it’s made real progress after 9 yrs of Coalition stagnation: cheaper meds, renewables, childcare, housing, TAFE, climate action, restoring global ties. We don’t need a hung parliament, a patchwork of independents stalling things. Let’s keep moving forward, not backwards.

I wouldn't rule that out for a minute. With a hung parliament it's most likely.
Now there’s an interesting thought. If no one gets a majority, is there a scenario possible where Labor and the Coalition form an even bigger “coalition”?
Nah! Too much of a rejection of what’s left of their founding principles.

I'm not so sure that I've heard a lot of that from Labor either, mate. I should be a rusted on Labor voter but I'm looking for an Indy this time round.
Indys have been lib ultra right so far. Don't hear them pushing for a increase in the dole or pensions and other social justice issues. Or the voice

This is BS. I'm a low paid man and probably earn less than 78% of the average male wage. Poorly paid people do need support but don't use devious numbers to make your sexist point.
Australian women earn $28,425 less than men each year. That’s 78 cents for every $1 men make. Pay inequity leads to women’s poverty.

WGEA data shows 72.2% of employers have a pay gap favouring men. Transparency isn’t enough—we need action to close the gap before the election.
