Kelsey Mitchell confirms she developed Rhabdomylosis.

The level of over-exertion/dehydration you need to get to in order to develop this is extreme. Getting to that point while under the supervision of a professional sports team staff is pretty blatant malpractice on the team’s part.

This is stupid, but one of the main things all this stuff keeps making me think is that Engelbert needs a better Personal Assistant. Someone should be sending notes on her behalf, or calling people then putting the phone in her hand, saying "try not to use the word 'knees' this time, ma'am". #WNBA

ultimately, I am not surprised at the Sandy news. I wrote this after they won the title last season, and this feeling still remains at the core, despite all they dealt with this season:

Talbot is better than Sherrod, but not enough. They should have kept Jaylyn for morale.

When the Liberty get swept in the first round of the playoffs, I hope there will be some real reporting into what the fuck was happening behind the scenes.

Again, the WNBA is trying to force a sovereign tribal nation into selling its team to a Trump donor & political appointee & relocate them to a state where women are hunted down for seeking abortions & Rep. Nicole Collier is currently locked inside House chambers until she signs a slave pass.

This continues to make minimal sense. So there was no expansion application for Boston in the past; so what? There's no way the league wants to lose the general NE market, and Boston would be a gain. As long as *most* games would be at TD Garden, get over it and let the tribe make their money. #WNBA

In case the league needed any more proof it has to extend the season if it wants to play this many games. This year's schedule is not good for the players or the quality of the product.
The Minnesota #Lynx and New York Liberty are scheduled to face off three times between Aug. 10-19, and those games will likely be without both Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart due to injuries.
