I made a ‘pimped up’ Toad in the hole , thyme, parsley and leeks in the batter, toffee apple sausages and black pudding.
Daughter made caramelised onion gravy.

It’s September so it’s time for some nice juicy, plump Shetland mussels. Panchetta, garlic, shallot, parsley, white wine and crème fraiche.

Cold water wild caught prawns and Cornish monkfish. Marinated in roasted garlic, chilli, cumin, lime zest and coriander.
Cooked over fire.
Served with grilled Indian flatbreads, Fuckyuzu hot sauce and grilled spring onion. A terrific, light and spicy,late summers meal.

Used the pizza oven attachment yesterday as I was cooking for a gaggle of my 12 year old daughter’s friends. It’s a really fun way to get everyone involved even if it was a little smoky!
