Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is good!
At times, it feels safe in a Force Awakens way, and in others, it has issues with pacing & handholding.
But on the whole, it has the satisfying blend of atmospheric exploration, intriguing sci-fi worldbuilding & snappy gunplay you want.

Truly the end of an era! I remember starting out at MobileSyrup shortly after @thebradfad.bsky.social and it's been a joy working with for the last seven years. Brad brought so much warmth and fun to the team and he will be sorely missed.

Crave just got a big update in Canada, adding over 10,000 hours of new content (some of it free) and a suite of user experience improvements.
I spoke with Bell about all of the changes, how the company's improved its streaming infrastructure and how it will approach generative AI going forward.

Last week, at a screening of Frankenstein, Guillermo del Toro concluded his remarks with "Fuck AI."

When I dropped by LightBox, one of the largest gatherings of artists working in entertainment, the line came up repeatedly.

I wouldn't quite call the sentiment universal, but it's pretty close.

I have really mixed feelings about the Xbox Ally. The hardware is great, easily the most comfortable handheld I've used. However, the price is high (and this is the cheaper one!), the Xbox experience, while an improvement for handhelds, still isn't great, and performance is all over the place.

"In some places, French postal workers now pick up prescriptions, return library books, and deliver flowers. Last year, only twenty eight per cent of La Poste’s revenue came from sending mail."

Services can evolve in positive ways to meet new and growing needs.
For those who wonder what a modern postal service could look like, one example is in France, where letter carriers provide check-ins on the elderly for very affordable rates, while completing their routes.

Ghost of Yōtei is a solid, if overly familiar, sequel.
For better and worse, it has many of the same strengths and weaknesses as Tsushima. Thankfully, Atsu’s emotional journey and the top-notch exploration ultimately leave it on a high note.
My full @mobilesyrup.com review:
Ghost of Yōtei is a safe but satisfying sequel
The core gameplay loop remains enjoyable, if overly familiar, but it's the narrative that leaves a lasting emotional impact.
