first post! here's a piece that i wrote!
I feel such intense grief as the cool breeze of autumn welcomes me in a false blanket of comfort. How I long to feel even the ghost of her touch on my aching soul. I cry in pain knowing that she is no longer with me. She left me like summer. No longer are the days of feeling her warm skin against mine. No longer will her smile blind me like the sun when you drive. No longer will I hear her symphony-like laugh as I stare up at the stars with her. No longer will I feel her. See her. Hear her. She was my summer, my still beautiful summer. Her beauty was surreal, it was as if she was sculpted by heaven itself. No one would appreciate her beauty like I did. She was my Aphrodite and I was nothing more than her loyal follower. If she were a religion, I would be the leader and devote my life to spreading her word. I loved her to the point of delusion. I dreamed of spending the rest of my days with her. I envisioned declaring my vows to her. My vows would be more than just promises. I was prepared to abide by them as if it was law. I would love her eternally til death do us apart. I would be sure to have her long for me as I longed for her for that is what true love entails. I would be sure to make her feel loved and have no doubts of my loyalty to her. She would never have to question her worth as she is of greater value to me than she realizes. She was my air. I felt withdrawal when we didn't speak for a while. I counted down the minutes, seconds, until we spoke next time. Being with her grounded me. I was like a moth to a flame. I was hooked on her like an active addict. No drug could compare, her effect on me was beyond anything. How dare I love her to the point of madness? Autumn can only laugh at my misery as I am left alone to deal with my own despair. Leaves fall to the ground, each one so similar to my quivering, fragile heart. Winter creeps up and it acts as a reminder of my dying love as the snow falls and freezes everything. My unrequited summer. My unrequited love. I am left alone in the cold to fend for myself. Winter can barely embrace me. I shiver at her touch. It is not the same warmth as summer's. It is not comforting in the slightest. She tries. The snow falls beautifully, but what good is it to see if the beauty of summer isn't here? Spring gently walks up to me. I am still hurting, but my heart has stopped quivering. She hands me three dandelions to wish on. I wish for peace, as on that first day of spring, I saw my Summer with someone else. I wished for forgiveness, because how could I come to love her so passionately when I wasn't even born a man? Lastly, I wish for eternal happiness, as on that same night, I coated both my soul and hers with our blood. Now my summer will never leave me.

the space images ever (according to no one in particular except me)
A thin structure of dark gas clouds spreads across the image. The pillar is darker and broader at the base, thin toward the middle, and broadens out again at the top, with spikes, fingers, and wisps of gas protruding in all directions from its head. Some parts of the pillar are illuminated, but most are dark and silhouetted at the edges and lit from behind. A wall of colorful gas lies behind the pillar, bluish at the top and redder toward the bottom, with several blue and gold stars scattered across it. Image credit: ESA/Hubble & NASA, K. Noll The image is divided horizontally by an undulating line between a cloudscape forming a nebula along the bottom portion and a comparatively clear upper portion. Speckled across both portions is a starfield, showing innumerable stars of many sizes. The smallest of these are small, distant, and faint points of light. The largest of these appear larger, closer, brighter, and more fully resolved with 8-point diffraction spikes. The upper portion of the image is blueish, and has wispy translucent cloud-like streaks rising from the nebula below. The orangish cloudy formation in the bottom half varies in density and ranges from translucent to opaque. The stars vary in color, the majority of which, have a blue or orange hue. The cloud-like structure of the nebula contains ridges, peaks, and valleys – an appearance very similar to a mountain range. Three long diffraction spikes from the top right edge of the image suggest the presence of a large star just out of view. A filamentary orange veil covers a bright region of star formation. The background is dark, stippled with stars and galaxies ranging from small bright dots to starry shapes. The foreground veil spans from upper left to the bottom right and resembles a seahorse. Bright stars light up the ‘eye’ and ‘chest’ regions of the seahorse with purple light. Within the tail, three bright spots sit in a traffic-light like formation. This image of the Ring Nebula, taken by Webb’s Near-Infrared Camera, appears as a distorted doughnut. The nebula’s inner cavity hosts shades of blue and green, while the detailed ring transitions through shades of orange in the inner regions and pink in the outer region. The ring’s inner region has distinct filament elements. Stars litter the scene, with a particularly prominent star with 8 long spikes in the top right corner.
