The absurdity of this letter is quite well.... read the letter.
Demanding "viewpoint diversity" in peer-reviewed medical science journals is literally just DEI for wrong people. Bad experiements and incorrect analyses shouldn't face discrimination, right?
1. This is so poorly written that the sentence that is -- I think -- supposed to convey a semi-veiled legal threat is incomprehensible.

2. I'm jealous of whichever lawyer gets to write the response.

Musk, Trump, and RFK have laid off 85% of the staff of NIOSH (including the director John Howard), threatening research into occupational hazards in mining, healthcare, firefighting, among others.

Breaking: RFK Jr. has forced out PETER MARKS, the nation’s top vaccine regulator.

In his resignation letter, obtained by the Post, Marks said he was willing to work with RFK Jr on his vaccine concerns — but said Kennedy wishes “subservient confirmation of his misinformation and lies.”

As a physician who has treated #measles, this is infuriating. A 6-year-old dies, yet the parents double down on anti-vax misinformation instead of warning others. This isn’t just tragic—it’s dangerous. Science isn’t an opinion, and denial kills. #VaccinesWork

Mice that find another mouse unconscious will attempt to resuscitate it in a similar manner to people giving first aid.
The behavior was more forceful in rescuer mice that knew the "deceased," & resulted in a quicker recovery time.

This is quite amazing: Volunteer public health folks along with web developers have replicated the CDC's webpages from prior to January 20th, 2025.

The site functions like the CDC website previously did.

The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025.

This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.
