You don’t need to follow me, I’m just skeeting.

Like I’m glad that you’ve never suffered the misery of being extremely poor but people should be donating to charities/mutual aid right now. Screaming about how “actually? We need to take back the government!” When the person running the mutual aid is actively trying to do that is…achingly stupid.

This was not your original point, AND it’s also not a meaningful criticism of contributing to charity *now* or using it for political purposes.
December 27, 2025 at 4:42 PM
This is extremely funny because even if it’s inefficient aid it seems like fantastic politics but also, why the fucking hell do you need to *constantly* put exclamation marks at the end of every sentence? Do you think it makes you more persuasive?

It is a poorly written article, but “lol he compared AI to a software that got shittier over time” was pretty clearly the point. I don’t think it’s a relevant or even true point, but I do think you’re mischaracterizing it.

They didn’t say that. They said people hated that Photoshop went from a license to a subscription. Which is true.

“In short, Photoshop is maybe not the metaphor I'd choose for clear toolset improvement”

The fact that the administration refused to comment, and the fact that she ignored the screenings of the story until the last possible moment, suggested changes, and then was satisfied with those changes? Are you able to read?

Hey Matty, i just really need to know that you saw this.
21. And before team Yglesias responds by saying "yeah, but it's bad politics to run on climate and energy"... I'd point out that I've won 4 elections in a very purple district running on climate and energy. Pro-tip: leadership is possible! You don't have to be stupid to win!

In a second example of local police securing a path for Bovino's caravan today, Evanston cops just assisted with the feds' departure by blocking and directing traffic.

Pretty sure it’s the “generate concept art” people are pissed off about.

I do feel like people are reading the article title and assuming it means “use LLMs to make new ideals” rather than the article’s content which is essentially “Use AI to make scientists lives easier” a thing that’s already happening.

I will admit this is a poorly written headline tho.

Another lifelong FBI employee, one who Merrick Garland promoted to Director of the Terrorist Screening Center no less, who has violated his oath to our Constitution. I hope we get to put him in prison.
December 12, 2025 at 5:59 AM
He has a constitutional obligation, an oath he swore to the US Constitution, to speak out. He is violating his most sacred duties by going and lying to Congress. He deserves prison as much as any other of Trump’s ilk.
December 12, 2025 at 5:56 AM
Trump’s admin elevated him, but Merrick Garland promoted him to Director of the Terrorist Screening Center in 2023.

Garland deserves the same punishment the fascists get.
