I always thought it was genius how Cyndi Lauper channeled a steel drum melodically and rhythmically— “I wanna be the one to walk in the sun,” falling a little behind the beat on those last 2 notes so we could imagine the motion of the mallot as the chord was spelled out.

Since Falk & Riss are gone I haven’t been able to watch BB this season. I hope they know how much they were loved and how much we enjoyed laughing with them! Loved our group calls. 💜🔥

Yes, libraries are invaluable for their collections and public services they offer, but also social contact without the expectation to interact with anyone or spend any money is so important to so many people

Public Libraries can be wonderful places where children and adults can find books that they can see themselves reflected in, no matter who they are, and books that can introduce them to entire other lived experiences. Both are so valuable!
