But heaven forbid anyone use strong language to describe the people doing this.
Yep. They’re telling MPs born overseas to go home, telling kids getting burnt &eating plastic to suck it up, & kids around schools their lives aren’t worth lower speeds, & Maaori who won’t get access to bowel screening when they need it to shut up in the face of evidence that says earlier is best.

Forget the bullshit spin or the ludicrous comparisons that we've heard this week. We know what it's about! And we know it'll come to bite National in the arse.

We can only hope...

Got to remember Anti-interllectualism is exceedingly strong in National (Key was the worst at it).

Not helped by media outlets that parot it either like say NZME with Hosking spoon feeding filth to listeners who lap it up like those in the Outer party in 1984

UNICEF reported yesterday that “the situation is getting worse every day,” and that they are treating about 10,000 children for severe malnutrition.

Without adequate nutrition or access to clean water, many children will die of easily preventable diseases, killed by something as simple as diarrhea.

Climate change denial and obstructionism also a huge one.

I think the public needs to know a bit more about the absolutely fringe and extreme anti-science beliefs held by certain individuals on the NZ right who present themselves in public as neutral technocratic experts.

Slater’s main job for many years was inventing and laundering National’s propaganda and encouraging their MPs and PR people to be more cruel. Tempting to view this as insincere cynicism and while that’s a huge part of it, the stupidity is not insignificant (as was proven when Rachinger scammed him).
Cameron Slater is a deeply stupid person.

It's not "National propaganda" (weren't you literally Nationals attack dog then?) about Winston.

It's just he's being Nice to you NOW because he NEEDS SOMETHING YOU HAVE. Your audience. He wants their votes. If you didn't have that, you'd be dead to him.
