How disgusting! We say we support our service members and veterans. Clearly those are empty words.

#Comet barely visible below and to right of left-most star. Some motion blur due to 5 second exposure on phone.

The smart money follows the smart money - and the future of #energy is clean; for reliability, cost and energy security.

Coal is the past.

On the #comingoutday I thank all those who honored me by telling me early in their journeys. That's trust.

Mark: Here, wear this (to #pride parade)
Me: Why?
Mark: So people know we have allies

Allies:
Speak up when appropriate,
Stand up when necessary
and sometimes just have to
Show up.

Good to highlight this issue, as well as those working to address it.

#Curacao exemplifies multicultural society. Dutch, African, Portuguese, South American and Caribbean in a fushion that leads to some pretty awesome art, music, cuisine, architecture....

People/companies/bots engage in pretty simple tactics to drive engagement. Since I focus on #sustainability & #business I avoid using - or responding to - obvious clickbait.

Less engagement but more substantive conversations.

Not my llama, not my drama.

Though you drown in good intentions
You will never quench the fire
You'll give in to your desire

The Achilles Heel of #sustainability - the use of its own language (including acronyms), having separate reports - rather than understanding that this is all part of the evolution of how business is successful. The chart is my own, illustrating how it has been getting closer to integration.

The #data prove #sustainability adds value. This includes #DEI #climate #efficiency #supplychain etc.

One day we will just call it #business. It is just going to take longer in those places where political winds blow loudly against #economic realities.

“If you cannot (or do not) link your sustainability efforts to business strategies and demonstrate how they contribute to improving those metrics, you're not engaged in sustainability, you're engaged in charity.”

Pleased #InstallNet White Paper “Closing Loops and Opening Opportunities” that I coauthored with Michaela Flynn posted on #CoreNet newsletter today. Explores options to keep #furniture out of landfill and in use.

Economic Forces are Stronger Than Political Winds

Several U.S. states have or are in the process of enacting climate-related disclosure laws, primarily aimed at improving corporate transparency around climate risks. This movement has grown in recent years.

#DDayanniversary

81 years ago he hopes and dreams of a free world began to be restored with the successful landings at Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword beaches. This memorial, at Arromanches shows how the ghostly presence of those brave YOUNG men still remains.

Not ready to sail off into the sunset - except on days like today when the winds are steady, the seas are fair and the opportunity beckons.
