After a career in politics, senior corporate jobs, and writing novels on the side, I seem to have an aptitude for photography, sloth, and going down rabbit holes.
This.
The pardon for Hernandez makes an obvious & absolute mockery of each & every attempt to rationalise, or even justify, Trump's treatment of Maduro. I'm not sure this single, simple point can be stressed enough. Once again, he proves his critics right & reduces his supporters to epic moral corruption.

So, aside from Trump's desire to do away with the concept of official corruption, I'm sure he wanted to pardon a Democrat, to say his pardons aren't partisan.

He doesn't understand Democrats want their own scoundrels to go to jail.

Only near the end comes this:

“Critics say Trump's project undercuts ideals America has long celebrated — as a refuge for immigrants, a land of opportunity for outsiders and a country that draws strength from its pluralism.”

Axios won’t condemn white supremacy.

The Chilean company is run by the man who rented Ivanka and Jared their Kalorama house in Trump 1 — at a below market rate.

What a good investment he made!

So Republicans in the Senate are now turning to Medicare cuts to fund tax cuts for billionaires. It’s ok, they say, so long as it ferrets out “waste, fraud, and abuse.” See below. Oh, and will Rick Scott, who oversaw “largest Medicare fraud ever”, recuse?

Godwin’s Law is obsolete. Hitler let Germany be destroyed because the German people had proved themselves unworthy of his genius. Trump is letting the US/ global economies be destroyed to prove he’s right, and to prove he can. Both content to create Armageddon out of unwillingness to admit error.
