Or whether they were, in fact, “drug traffickers”.
Breaking news: In the past 10 months, the Trump administration has pushed for lethal strikes on Western Hemisphere drug traffickers and repeatedly steamrolled or sidestepped government lawyers who questioned whether the provocative policy was legal.
White House blew past legal concerns in deadly strikes on drug boats
The Trump administration sidestepped skeptical lawyers across national security agencies as it pursued a military campaign against alleged narcotraffickers, officials say.

The problem with homelessness and addiction is it's too easy to see.
"The longer visible signs of social decay are allowed to fester, the more inclined those with means will be to simply check out ... leaving those without the ability to relocate to deal with playgrounds littered with drug paraphernalia." www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/arti...
Opinion: We have normalized delinquent, disorderly behaviour in our cities for too long

I'd be interested to know what "work hours" are for Peterson, who spends most of his life on podcasts and social media telling people his credentials, and sometimes then telling people to kill themselves.

Section 33 of the Charter, Pierre Trudeau's sop to Quebec and Alberta, is being abused by premiers to placate weird little in-groups in their parties.

Charter rights for the most vulnerable among us should not be overridden to satisfy bigots.

The big problem with Canada’s bail system is that courts are jammed. As new reverse-onus provisions make hearings more complex, courts may get overwhelmed, releasing or remanding the wrong people. We need a well-resourced, effective system so courts can focus on high-risk cases.

New poll shows over two thirds of Canadians support recognizing Palestine even if it means the US punishing us for it.

A solid majority of Canadians also support retaliating in kind to all of America's economic assaults. Even if it brings on further retaliation.

Easily one of the most depressing things I've ever laid eyes on. If you needed a license to be a journalist, Acosta would lose his for this.
At 4p ET/1p PT, I’ll have a one of a kind interview with Joaquin Oliver. He died in the Parkland school shooting. But his parents have created an AI version of their son for a powerful message on gun violence. Plus TX Rep. @jamestalarico.bsky.social - see you soon on Substack and later on YouTube.

Imagine being so credulous that you are told something as demonstrably dumb as this and believing it.
I believe a lawyer told Andrew Yang this, because Yang is a rich nitwit who hangs out with other rich nitwits, none of whom do any real work nor can tell good work from bad, all of whom could be replaced by an AI chatbot with no loss in output speed or quality.

(AXIOS) - The director of Israel's Mossad spy agency visited Washington this week seeking U.S. help in convincing countries to take hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from Gaza, two sources with knowledge of issue tell Axios.

lol, nothing matters. Tariffs on the world? Stocks go up. The US enters/starts a regional conflict with a petrostate? Stocks go up.
Breaking News: Oil prices fell more than 7% and stocks rose as investors appeared optimistic that fallout from the U.S.-Iran conflict would be contained.
