My guess is that this is not likely to make the DOJ comply but when lawyers potentially considering joining the DOJ see that they're gonna be hung out to dry, a bunch of them will consider other options.
JUST IN: Judge Provinzino in Minnesota has held a Justice Department attorney in civil contempt for violations of her order requiring the return of a released ICE detainee’s ID documents. He must pay $500 a day until the documents are returned.

Honestly if you call me Big Dog I'll try to figure out who's behind me.

Once I figure out you mean me, I'll recognize you're trying to flatter me, & I mean, I enjoy being flattered, but I don't know if I'll react as expected
It’s ruining my LIFE

It took me a moment to figure out if this were Loss, but ultimately this seems worse.
This is like if an NPC in an open-world videogame was allowed to just never stop talking to you

I don't know why but it's charming & funny to see Pritzker booping the snoot of Honest Abe Lincoln
Happy Presidents' Day, Illinois!

From Lincoln to Obama, Illinois has always been home to greatness. Today, we honor their enduring legacies.

AOC has an uncanny ability to build political capital & win meaningful concessions that old-guard progressives (cough Bernie cough) never did.

If need be, she is willing to do some horse trading. Hell, she's got a whole stable & has her Hobson's Choice of horse trading.

I do sudoku while on my exercise bike.

Probably all the Ace Attorney games put together.

I've probably put over 100 hours into Space Quest IV but 500 is probably a stretch.
Name a videogame you've put 500 hours into.

I will constrain myself to already dead people to avoid allegations of death threats

Gonna be a weird one: Boris Yeltsin, 1995, before the second election campaign, before Putin joined the cabinet.

It would fuck a lot of things but we would definitely be in a different America today.
You have a Time Machine. Your mission is to save America. You can only do this once, and it has to be done after the date of your birth (to make sure you don’t get butterfly effect’d, etc). In this HYPOTHETICAL THOUGHT EXPERIMENT ABOUT SOMETHING INPOSSIBLE who do you kill, and when?
If I a Time Machine existed (which it doesn’t making this post unambiguously speculative and hypothetical) the highest profile individuals to knock off to preserve American democracy probably Murdoch, Gingrich, Koch’s, and Zuckerberg.
