Shouldn't the #AlbeitWithoutEvidence paper be asking them about this?

In, like, 2032 or 2036, say?
well, I read it, and the salient, non-gross part is Lizza alleging, midsentence and without elaboration, that Nuzzi ran numerous “catch-and-kill operations” on RFK’s behalf, which would give her a role in both his appointment and the untold preventable deaths he has abetted in office. Cool.

the NYT referring to "scientific orthodoxy" instead of "science" or "proven facts" or "the truth" is what helps you see that this newspaper is now, & has been for some time, a critical part of the fascist apparatus in this country
Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.

BREAKING: NYT has ethical standards

Editor: Make that "BROKEN", yeah?
I was wondering if/when this would be mentioned… a lede quite intentionally buried in the back half of the article.

"now President Trump is preparing to take on the concern"

What is WRONG with you?

Dear NPR,

You do not work for the president.
You are not his public relations team.
You do not need to try to boost his public image with “preparing to take on the concern,” especially not when referring to problems he has caused or made worse.
Your job is news.
Or at least it’s supposed to be.

But none between Kelly and a monster, so in the great cosmic scheme of things it all evens out.

Either that is by design, or because the Senior White House Correspondent for CBS News, who has held that position for more than 7 years now, has no idea how to ask "why" questions.

A child conceived then would have a better grasp of this.

These are your two choices.

Bonus: You can choose both.
Question is actually: “why did Donald Trump spend hours with Epstein?”

We know he did. Tons of info, pics, videos in the public record. “Did he?” doesn’t move the story.

See, if you guys want to play in the NYT's league, you're gonna have to work an #AlbeitWithoutEvidence in there somewhere. It can be done, and the Times runs that play over and over. Practice, guys -- practice!
U.S. President Donald Trump says that his government will boycott the Group of 20 summit this month in South Africa over his claims that a white minority group there is being violently persecuted. Those claims have been widely rejected.

Outstanding 🧵

I'm often critical of reporting (e.g., from organizations like the New York Times which have disappointed time and again).

But excellent reporting is still done and this is a fine example.

How many of these has the Times cheered on, though, or both-sidesed, or sanewashed? I'd guess it's well above the halfway mark. Anyone have a reliable number?
“.. the Times editorial board has compiled a list of 12 markers of democratic erosion .. The sobering reality is that the United States has regressed, to different degrees, on all 12.”

Because these homes are government funded and affordable, built so high-ranking military can afford to live where they are stationed. But because Trump administration officials feel they own everything, incredibly wealthy individuals who could easily afford anything get to take what they want.

My, that IS an obstacle.

Apparently all you have to do to get a prestige media outlet to become equivocal on anything is to just assert something regardless of whether it is so. Trump could get you fools to say maybe the earth is flat, we have to check again.

Sounds like the NYT accidentally centered Republican lies about how DoJ worked unoer Biden. Oops! how embarrassed they must be over there on 8th Ave.

I feel for them.
Important piece, as most folks know, the reality is 180 degrees at odds with Republican claims: Biden did NOT weaponize the Justice Department, AG Garland actually slowed its pursuit of lawbreaking by Trump and his co-conspirators www.nytimes.com/2025/10/30/o...

They ran 26 "Joe Biden is secretly rully OLD" pieces in a single week, last February.

Professional Journalism™, folks. Just a laser-like focus on what matters.
If you ever wonder what it looks like when the media decides to give scandal coverage, the New York Times ran 45 stories about Hillary’s emails just in the month of March 2015 — more than 18 months before the election.

They could easily do that about just the White House destruction if they wanted
Press who got years out of Hillary’s emails deciding amongst themselves that people aren’t all that interested in the White House destruction (and every other example of Trump breaking laws and norms.)
