DC @mayorbowser essentially inviting federal law enforcement to remain indefinitely is an absolute disgrace. If she is uninterested in doing the bare minimum to defend our residents against harassment, racial profiling, random stops, and being disappeared on our streets she should resign immediately

Respectfully, the Attorney General does not have the authority to revoke laws.
NEW: Attorney General Pam Bondi has ordered an end to D.C. sanctuary policies, office announced today.
White House: Bondi has "officially ENDED" D.C. sanctuary policies
The announcement was made in a wider directive Bondi issued that saw DEA chief Terry Cole appointed "emergency police commissioner."

100%. And to be very clear, DC’s Attorney General should be suing DOJ immediately over this flagrantly illegal action that is not authorized by the D.C. Home Rule Act (or any other federal or local law)! The current Congress won’t do anything to stop this but the federal courts may.
