100%. And to be very clear, DC’s Attorney General should be suing DOJ immediately over this flagrantly illegal action that is not authorized by the D.C. Home Rule Act (or any other federal or local law)! The current Congress won’t do anything to stop this but the federal courts may.

Crime is down in DC. Over the past two years, there has been a 52% drop in violent crime. We now have some of the lowest crime rates we’ve seen in 30 years.
