How much of your urban walking is done on extremely narrow sidewalks?

How much public space is dedicated to car parking?

Removing parking space everywhere is a big step forward. Let’s reclaim the streets for nature and pedestrians

Plant a lot more urban trees.

A typical European car is parked 92% of the time. It spends 1/5th of its driving time looking for parking. Its 5 seats only move 1.5 people. 86% of its fuel never reaches the wheels, and most of the energy that does, moves the car, not the people.

Sound efficient?

It's a super stressful time because a lot of what Trump is doing makes the world way more chaotic and dangerous, which is already becoming more chaotic and dangerous because of climate change.
A gentle reminder that if we miss the 1.5°C target (and we certainly will), the next target is 1.51°C and not 2°C. We need to keep fighting.

Every tonne of CO₂ emitted makes the job of future CO₂ removal harder, and every 0.01°C of temperature increase makes the world more chaotic and dangerous.
