This. It depends how the financing is structured. If it's setup as a commercial loan, then there are more considerations. Back in my small bank days doing those deals, a single family rental would rely more on global/personal cash flow because the individual property..

Never been my actual career (commercial/corporate side) but I used to know a few things. Haven't really honed my knowledge in a while aside from some VA research

I've been reading too much reddit lately but I gather that what people tried is going NC or grey rock with their weird racist uncles, rather than joining for holidays and yelling so maybe we could try something new

I think the charismatic movement is largely behind this (in both good and bad ways) and ties to Pentecostalism (with some overlap in the Evangelical world but not precisely, imo)

We solved this by getting my siblings to agree on no niece/nephew gifts and my parents just do something pretty simple for the grandkids. Feels much more manageable.
