The position will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations within the Community Relations department.   Key Responsibilities: * Assist in meticulously planning, coordinating, and executing multiple high-profile events and game day experiences, encompassing aspects such as marketing, event planning, vendor selection and negotiations, volunteer recruitment and management, and silent auction item procurement. * Coordinate various silent auction experiences, as well as special community Game Day moments including Game Day Coin Toss Kid, Kick Off-Kid, and Super Bowl Packages. * Oversee and assist in executing elements of Community Relations and the @Commanders Foundation sponsorship contracts, encompassing media, digital assets, print advertising, signage, special events, program events and initiatives, hospitality, and in-game promotions. * Assist in Game Day preparation, including the creation of Game Day Production notes on behalf of the CR team, tracking Charitable suite attendees, ticket emailing, and managing suite orders. * Act as a strategic thinker, offering consultancy for partners and demonstrating expertise in their respective categories. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: * A College degree and a minimum of one year of work experience in charitable organizations, fundraising, marketing, events, community relations, and/or media are required. * Graduate degree and/or experience working in or with professional sports are desirable. * Must be able to commute to our College Park, MD offices as well as the OrthoVirginia Training Facility in Ashburn, VA. * Availability and willingness to work all Commanders home games and assigned events, which may include nights and weekends. * Familiarity with Social Media is preferred. * Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail are imperative. * Ability to develop and maintain interpersonal and corporate relationships. * Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills. * A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team setting. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proven experience in handling confidential information appropriately. * Salary: $15.00/hour We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.

This individual will have a deep understanding of graphic design and a creative eye for storytelling the brand and its players overall and within each market. Under the guidance of the Art Director, the Graphic Designer will work closely with the Brand and Marketing team at both the league and team level to drive brand storytelling through graphics content. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Design deliverables for all digital platforms including website, mobile and social media to support game and event coverage, digital marketing, content and sales efforts to help build brand and fan engagement * Execution of PWHL collateral as assigned (tickets sales materials, posters, billboards, signage, marketing campaigns, logos, sponsorship co-branded promotion, community programs, print ads, web ads/promos, broadcast/arena, event materials, retail display etc.) *  Design co-branded promotional and collateral materials for league partners * Create production files that reflect the most effective file-building methods *  Work as a member of the creative team in brainstorming, developing and conceptualizing innovative ideas to contribute toward brand and campaign initiatives while maintaining brand integrity * Work collaboratively across marketing, ticketing, sponsorships, and other relevant departments QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Graphic Design, Illustration, Art Media and/or Digital Design or equivalent combination of education and experience. – Required. * 3+ years of design experience in the sports industry. * Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365 programs. – Required. * Motion graphic design skills. – Preferred.
