Genre authors are considered the most vulnerable to displacement by AI, according to the report, with two-thirds (66%) of all those surveyed listing romance authors as “extremely threatened”, followed closely by writers of thrillers (61%) and crime (60%) 😒😒
More than half (51%) of published novelists in the UK believe AI is likely to end up replacing their work, says a new survey of 258 authors from the University of Cambridge 👇 #BookSky

I only watch one genre:
Nordic cop overcoming trauma and professional disgrace, returns to hometown to investigate murder, confronts her family secrets & personal demons in hunt for killer, who is closer to home than she thinks
What are your top 5 movie genres? Mine are:

-"I got it, we'll *pretend* to be married! What could go wrong?"
-Englishmen being weird
-Ship hunted by submarine
-Submarine hunted by ship
-Submarine hunted by other submarine

(The first two can be improved by the addition of a submarine.)
- Films from 1932 in which three chorus girl gold diggers who share a flat try to survive the Depression
- Craggy former gunslinger bleakly confronts his life’s work
- Miscarriage of justice documentary
- Half-arsed ‘80s buddy comedy
- Holly Hunter whispering
