I think it’s super important to do art for yourself. But also don’t deny those feelings you get when you share it and don’t get a response. It’s okay for it to disappoint you that no one else dug it but you. Keep making what you like.

The way Tramell Tillman pronounced the word “monosyllabically” in the latest episode of SEVERANCE like Jesus just give him the Emmy already.

Unfortunately for my husband, part of being married to me is that I will periodically discover a restaurant has a free delivery promotion, and then immediately place an order for pickup instead 🫠 sorryyyyyyyyyyy @stigall.bsky.social reading is hard

Every year I think about making myself another sweater and I average about 0.5 sweaters per year. So I have a few and I know they are worth it. But every time this rolls around I end up playing chicken to finish the thing before the weather warms up.

I watched this last night as soon as I saw the notification. Because I loved The Substance and I loved Revenge and now I am unbearably pleased to discover more Weird Girl of the 90s details about Coralie Fargeat. I loved making home movies and also loved Star Wars when it was definitely not "cool"
When she was 17, The Substance director Coralie Fargeat made a Star Wars film using her family’s camcorder. 📹

Losing your glasses isn't like you're totally blinded like in the movies, pawing hopelessly at the ground while the monster approaches. It's like playing a PlayStation game on a CRT television and squinting at the screen while you mutter, "Is that their hair, or are they wearing a hat?"

Watched it tonight! I need to photograph my signed poster from getting to meet Peter Cowper last summer... I stumbled upon this movie the first time, but now I watch it every year. The uncut extended edition is worth it 😌❤️⛏️
Oh, the legend they say
On a Valentine's Day
Is a curse that'll live on and on

MY BLOODY VALENTINE was released in theaters on February 11, 1981, exactly 44 years ago.

Saw this tonight, and it was as I hoped it would be based on the previous descriptors like "batshit crazy," but it also was actually written well, and not *only* a showcase of gruesome death. The theater was full of happy weirdos.
The new retro poster for THE MONKEY is, as Stephen King puts it, "Pretty f*cking funny."
