Sick to the back teeth of the absolute circus Acun has caused at our club. We have ONE senior striker (who hasn’t scored a single competitive goal for us) and the season starts next week. Patience is wearing thin. #hcafc

Starting to think football needs a breakaway federation to provide an alternative to the stranglehold FIFA and UEFA have over the sport. I’m know I’m not alone in being repulsed by most high-level football these days - almost every club and competition are tarnished by corruption or blood money.

The Prodigy blowing the lid off Glastonbury Tor. Very good stuff indeed. #Glastonbury

Wanted to enjoy Neil Young, but it was an energy-sapping snoozefest. Doechii on the other hand... the energy is off the chart. Properly bringing it to West Holts. Ace. #Glastonbury

Raye is absolutely brilliant. Owns the stage and has an infectious energy. And as others have also noted, her guitarist looks suspiciously like Keir Starmer. #Glastonbury

Absolutely over the moon for Palace. Such a likeable club and fanbase. #FACupFinal

What a team goal from Palace! Stick it to Petrostate FC. #facupfinal

Not been so pumped for a neutral game in ages. Feels like a matchup of good vs evil. Come on Palace, do it for football! #facupfinal

Sacking Selles is Acun’s worst decision. Worse than dismissing Rosenior. Worse than hiring Arveladze or Walter. If he gets it wrong, he’s got to sell up and walk. #hcafc

This is horrendous. #hcafc

HT. Nerves are shot, but very solid performance so far. We could really do with a second, and/or Bristol City to get their arses into gear. Huge 45 coming up. #hcafc

Time to find out if a bloke who wore fancy shorts and got punched in the head for a living can reopen libraries in Hull by shouting "Stop The Boats".

Labour will never win over Reform voters. Let Reform and the Tories battle that one out. Their best chance is to win back the disillusioned progressives who didn't feel they were worth voting for any more. In Runcorn over 20,000 who voted in the GE didn't vote at all this time.

Pretty embarrassed to be from Hull and the East Riding today. Luke Campbell as mayor? Really? Are we really that stupid and self-loathing?

Every football club has its ups and downs. But relegation this season feels like it could usher in a very lengthy spell in the doldrums, which is something I hoped and prayed we’d never see again. Having watched us lose to Macclesfield in front of 6,000 fans in a decrepit Boothferry… yikes. #hcafc

This relegation fight is utterly mental. #hcafc

My stream's just crashed, which is probably a blessing. At this moment, I just can't see City staying up. Toothless in attack, leaky at the back. Lacking in fight. In comparison, every other team near us (bar maybe Luton) are giving it a hell of a go. #HCAFC

Hell of a performance from Villa. Went toe to toe with arguably the best club side in the world right now. #avfc

Cambridge United vs Charlton Athletic. An utterly abysmal game of football, but a good experience nonetheless. Quite enamoured by #CUFC as a club - reckon I’ll be back (and hopefully it’ll be for a L2 promotion push next season).
