Oh no, my neighbors will know? You mean those people I went to the vigil with on Saturday? Or the ones who picked up whistles from my house? Or do you mean the ones I met with to talk about how to start a mutual aid fund?

I recognize this is, to some extent, cope/bargaining, but
this is the the first of several votes necessary to end the shutdown, right? so even the present unfathomable fecklessness doesn't mean it's over over, and there are multiple potential blockage points ahead to reject a no-concessions 'deal'?

The officer that killed Amir Locke is the officer whose body cam footage showed his colleague shooting me in the face. There is a culture of misconduct in MPD that is being reinforced by a mayor who is unwilling to hold anyone accountable. We need new leadership to keep *everyone* in MPLS safe!
Last time Jacob Frey ran for mayor, he told voters he had banned the use of no-knock warrants in Minneapolis.
A month into Frey’s 2nd term, Amir Locke was killed by MPD Officer Mark Hanneman while executing a no-knock warrant.
