it’s pretty nuts how a throwaway line in so many stories about various public figures is like “btw the president of the united states said this person should be killed”

“The year 2025 was a setback for humanity — and unfortunately, the United States is a reason for the retreat…for the first time in this century, the number of children worldwide dying before the age of 5 is believed to have risen, by about 200,000.”

Context you rarely hear: global stocks are up about 30% over the past year. U.S. stocks? Around 18%. That means American investors underperformed the world by about 12 percentage points, even while headlines called it a “fantastic year.”

In three years, all the Trump wording on govt buildings will be thrown in a giant fire.

We will literally have a big bonfire on national TV…. And ceremonially destroy any memory of the Trump presidency

And replace his photo on the “walk of fame” in WH with two huge Cankles

It’s hard to believe that one man can cause so much stress, so much fear, so much pain and suffering…a man who took an oath to preserve and protect our Constitution. This man, who is inciting terror across our land, must be removed from office. In a sane world, it would happen immediately.

If Trump was 100% guilty before any of the Epstein files were released, now he’s closer to 600%, 700%, even 800% guilty.

MAGA math works both ways.

Not only does this intentionally violate the First Amendment to the US Constitution, it’s vile to watch mean-spirited, selfish ghouls who starve the poor and kidnap people for their skin color sanctimoniously pretending they follow any of the teachings of Jesus.

Call me a nerd, but yesterday, a federal judge in Pennsylvania cited my reporting in a ruling against the DOJ in a case challenging Trump-era actions targeting transgender people.

A reminder that this work really does matter.

so the two notable programming moves bari weiss has made at CBS are... airing an interview nobody watched and not airing a 60 Minutes segment that everybody watched. it's like she's satirizing herself
