Now that WAPO has declared politics is off limits for the opinion page (turned out the lights); NYT is not reporting all the news; where do you turn to for the news. It seems like a ripe time for an independent nonprofit news channel.

The legal system is clear. Trump is continuing to impound funds, violate contracts and break the law.
The media needs to report this much more clearly. Seizing funds Congress appropriated that are already under contract with recipients is ILLEGAL.

The usual suspects are out there yelling "There are 23 million government workers! Fire most of them!" No awareness that most work for local governments, and most of *them* are schoolteachers. Federal employment hasn't grown since the 1950s
