Dealing with climate change by deploying solar, storage, and other technologies during the day, and as a first responder at night. he/him
I wasn't around for Carter's presidency, but as I've learned more (after leaving high school), I've had a growing respect for Carter, and a waning respect for most of the presidents since. This is another new thing I'm learning.
This Day in Labor History: October 31, 1978. President Jimmy Carter signed the Pregnancy Discrimination Act. Let's talk about this important piece of legislation that extended civil rights and worker rights!

Yesterday, between 9:30 AM and 5 PM, solar provided more than 50% of the energy in ERCOT. It's a low load, sunny, cool day, but we're getting there.

Steve Bannon has confirmed that there is a secret plot afoot to end our democracy and install Trump as a permanent dictator.

If this were untrue, he’d be getting a visit from the FBI, as what he’s describing is a criminal conspiracy.

He won’t get an FBI visit.

When I read self help books, by the time I'm at the end, I've forgotten to keep implementing the stuff from the beginning because life is happening and I'm pretty busy. I'm trying to solve that by writing something to remind me of the most important things. Anyway, RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!

I am four episodes into the @netflix.com show Boots, and it has done the best job capturing my experience in boot camp. After one episode I shared it with my wife, and now she has a better understanding of why I am the way I am.

Thinking to Founders, Framers, so much against any established religion, representing numerous views & beliefs w/little unity. Thus, examples like Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli (1797): "As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion"🗃️

Farm bankruptcies are back in the news, so it's time to pull this chart out again.

Hey look they kept rising during Trump's first term. Then they went way down under Biden.

Now they're up again? So weird. Thanks Farm Bureau for the graphic

@kissphoria.bsky.social I know this isn't your beat, but there were a couple emissions events reported to TCEQ in the last couple days that show ~400,000 pounds of sulfur dioxide getting blasted into the atmosphere, including 162k at this event. It seems large to me. You hear anything?
