Yeah nearly all negative news about AEW I've seen lately have been fans either screen capping or outright sharing it.
It's one thing if the algorithm shows me a comment but if you're outright sharing it, you are part of the problem.

Important reminder for this time of year: It's fun to fill your kitchen with turkey stock, but it's dangerous to take on a project like this without an expert on hand to estimate how many turkeys could fit in your kitchen.

I was a little sympathetic to the James Bond writers struggling to plausibly bring him back from the dead, because it's not like SFF where you can do something completely untethered from reality. Then, I looked up the last movie and found out he was infected with nanobots.

1 lb. ground meat
2 16 oz cans kidney beans (undrained)
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 cup chili powder 🤯
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon each of: cumin, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne red pepper, oregano

This got me to thinking: What iconic role are you "supposed" to know Vincent Price from? With Wallace Shawn it's MY DINNER WITH ANDRE or PRINCESS BRIDE. But, horror buffs notwithstanding, how many people alive today have actually seen, say, HOUSE OF WAX, or the Roger Corman Poe movies?
I think everybody has a “Wallace Shawn from Young Sheldon” — my first one would probably be “Vincent Price, the guy who did the voice of Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective”

"Are we allowed to like the thing" is fandom as self-victimization. What you want is for everyone else to make liking the thing cool, or to make you a martyr for liking it when it wasn't cool.

Watching Son of Frankenstein tonight because I forgot I already watched it a couple years ago, but it really is a good movie, better than you'd expect an old horror movie threequel to be.
