someone on Threads was complaining that they got the question "how many ghosts appeared in A Christmas Carol?" at a pub quiz, & answered 4 but were marked as incorrect, with the correct answer given as 3.
It's actually more complicated than it sounds, with a few possible answers (none of them 3). 🧵

Time zones are a fake idea, they are defined in offsets from UTC.
Just use UTC. It is 4:16 UTC right now for everyone on earth. Do you really think adding math to this is necessary?
