I grew up in the 1970's and remember when we were all told of the hellscape of pollution if we didn't get our act together. There was "Love Canal" and the other Superfund sites opening up. This administration wants to bring that era back when the earth was something to be used up.
Trump has decided to exempt coal used in steelmaking from Clean Air Act rules for the next two years. He issued a proclamation allowing coke oven facilities to sidestep existing limits on toxic emissions including mercury, formaldehyde, soot, and dioxins.

I don't understand how some folks are unable to see that the illegal disappearing of people is a class issue. The wealthy and well-connected get due process. The rest of us don't. This is part of the oligarchy, not a distraction from it.

If fraud and abuse are so out of control, where are the lawsuits? Where are the arrests?
If it were real, they’d be parading the perpetrators—not just pushing headlines. Treat the so-called fraudsters like they do suspected gang members with soccer ball tattoos.
