BREAKING: The sudden discovery of ancient woodland at Oxford United’s new stadium site, which caused the postponement of the crucial planning meeting this week, has been reversed. Natural England now says it is “withdrawing its support for Stratfield Brake as ancient woodland”.

First proper day of retirement tomorrow. So I will be getting up at 6:30, walking to the shop to buy the Daily Mail, putting Reform stickers in my window and moaning at all the noisy kids walking to school. And all before 9:00.

She just wants to continue to play football. Every member of her team wants her to continue playing with them. The FA has chosen tom implement this ban, no court or law has imposed it. This is what you all celebrated with champagne - the exclusion of young people from sport. Shame on you.

38 new homes are proposed for the southern edge of Ducklington, just outside Witney. Developers Victoria Land have applied to build a mix of 1 to 4-bedroom homes, with 40% ‘affordable’. The location is an infill site between the village’s main street and the A415 bypass.
