Okay, I think we need a silent film refresher because my replies have been weird:
1. Censorship was not okay and was used to protect institutional power under the guise of "save the children"

Right now there are fascists in the White House. They haven't gotten to the Ustase stage yet, thank heavens, but that might yet come. Trump et al are set on making all of our lives as miserable as possible, and are set on shortening the lives of many of us.
