Honestly / I think everyone should have to go to a funeral and wedding on the same day- I’m not saying that it is easy, but it gives you the full human experience in one day - that’s for sure

It’s going to be a long month - my cousin’s wedding is this morning, then we have a funeral this afternoon, head to CT/RI next weekend for my grandmother’s internment and then another funeral the weekend after that. 2025 has been rough, but there have been some bright spots…is it June yet?

So he is openly defying a unanimous Supreme Court decision - what do they (or anyone) do to make him follow the law? He hasn’t yet - he certainly isn’t planning on doing it anytime soon. But seriously - I don’t have words for how atrocious this all is.

And even worse when you ignore a Supreme Court ruling to bring him/them back.

Putin doesn’t respect Trump - he’s using him and the only person who doesn’t realize this is our pathetic excuse for a president.

RIP Bob Uecker. Never forget the time he and Bob Gibson got in trouble for holding hands during the team photo.

Looks as if the second Trump presidency will begin the way the first Trump presidency ended: incompetent acrimonious chaos.

I was NEVER the girl who dreamed about what my wedding would be, what I would wear, etc. (not at all surprising if you know me). Now, I suddenly find myself spending a LOT of time thinking about wedding logistics and it's so weird to me. Luckily, everything is coming together pretty easily.

I hadn’t posted regularly on that other site/app after it became a single letter. Rarely I would sign in for some kind of random, specific reason, but that was about it. Bluesky, so far, has reminded me why I liked the other site long before it became the cesspool it is now.

When you realize that the goal of the Trump administration is to dismantle the Federal Government, choosing the absolute worst person to lead each institution makes perfect sense.

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that
Indiana's gender affirming care ban, including an aiding and abetting provision, is likely constitutional.

It cites Dobbs 21 times.

The ruling was a divided 2-1 ruling, with the two judges being a Bush and Trump appointee.
