I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

You should wear a mask if you *don't* have symptoms. If you *do* have symptoms you should stay home and not infect anyone else (if you have *any* choice in the matter. Obviously not everyone does.)

You should wear a mask if you *don't* have symptoms. If you *do* have symptoms you should stay home and not infect anyone else (if you have *any* choice in the matter. Obviously not everyone does.)

The “Pathways” trial is, IMO on more than one level, a thoroughly unethical piece of “research” to be carrying out on children, especially children who are part of a marginalised minority.

Spent pretty much all of today doing stuff in Lean, proving things about red-black trees. It's frustrating in places, but also so satisfying. Same with playing around with the register allocation code this last week. It's all very fun, but I hope I can spend more than a day per thing I look at
