This election was never about the price of eggs or gas Whip Clark (D-MA). It’s always been about culture wars that protect white fragility. They hate everyone, that aren’t like them and they won the message. Until we adopt negative partisanship into our messaging, we won’t win again. #DemVoice1

This Day in Labor History: November 21, 1927. Colorado state police massacred six striking coal miners at the Columbine Mine in Serene, in what was just one of so many instances in American history of government using police forces as the private strikebreaking army of employers!

one time I was really excited about a cleverly-knit metaphor in a favorite book, and then I apologized because the text wasn’t scholarly enough, and my professor said "there’s no such thing as 'not scholarly enough'." anything you love is worthy of inquiry.

Its precondition
is uselessness—
wrong in its place,
bobbing in wind,
fattening in sun, red
seeds in a cloak
with an orange ruff
whatever that is,
Bittersweet, maybe.

Tonight in 1980 at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota, the number five engine on the right wing of a B-52H on ground alert caught fire during a drill.
