Instead of the normal weekly tarot readings people do, I am going to make a tarot post that is an energetic lending library. Just take the cards with the vibes you need that week and go with it. Here is the first one. Enjoy!

Brain Fog. Between perimenopause, MS, and just stress while watching things burn around us, it seems like I am dealing with it constantly. And I bet a lot of you are as well. So here is a tiny practical tip.

Looks like my tarot deck is 25% off today! It's silly, light-hearted, and tasty.

How are other writers managing to get stuff done right now? I forced a few pages out yesterday but not as much as I normally would have written. It's just so much harder to stay focused than usual. Tips and tricks please.

Okay, I have my writing uniform on (hoodie, comfy pant, and slippers) and a half written book that I set aside for a couple of weeks. I can no longer wait for a good news day to dive back in. Let's do this!

A week in Scotland reminded me of what I want to see in this country right now. No matter where we went, from the Capitol to the highlands, I felt safe. Not just because of the lack of guns (though that certainly didn’t hurt) but it was mostly just the people and community. (1/5)

You can protect yourself and others from COVID-19 by following preventive measures, such as:

🔹 keeping a distance
🔹 wearing a mask if you are unwell
🔹 wearing a mask in crowded and poorly ventilated spaces, especially if you are in a risk group
🔹 keeping rooms well-ventilated

A worry stone seemed like a practical thing to craft. Anyone have any funny or punny names suggestions?

Can we all at least agree that knowledge is a good thing and if someone is trying to actively limit our access to that, they probably do not have our best intentions at heart?

I have been trying to figure out a good way to phrase this for a couple of days now. Thank you person who made this sign. You nailed it.

I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

Unidentified men grabbing someone off the street and putting her in a car because she wrote an op-Ed. This as flatly authoritarian as anything we’ve seen in this country in a very long time.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

I wonder how many calories you burn doing the crazy mental gymnastics to say you are pro-life while also militantly supporting people who are actively causing so much death and destruction. Seems exhausting.

Trump's USDA will roll back safety regulations to “streamline” meat processing.

This will boost corporate profits at the expense of worker health and food safety.

Last year's listeria outbreak tied to Boar's Head killed 10 people.

We need more regulation, not less. Hello?
