It's my favorite assignment of the year—sonnets! This time around, my students wrote sonnets about being tired; a cake pop; coffee; an insistent, hungry cat; a favorite mug; crunchy leaves; mom's homemade food; a hamburger eaten for lunch; football; breakfast; and Taylor Swift. 🤩

Doing all my spring advising this week, and it has so far been such a joy to meet with each beloved student and spend significant time with them talking widely about their plans and interests and dreams. I LOVE my job.
