Blue states need to set up an escrow account for fed tax payments if DOT or any other gov agency withholds funding. Pull funds to offset any shortfalls & only submit the tax collections when the fed relents.
Sean Duffy on blue states: "What I can do is I can pull their money. That's the leverage I do have ... I guarantee you that the federal taxpayer is not going to fund their roads and bridges and their systems when they are putting illegals on the roads."

They didn't have to do propaganda, just provide information. Like telling economic reporters at major news outlets about the fastest real wage growth in half a century www.epi.org/publication/... or an unprecedented boom in factory construction.

Maria Shriver, niece of JFK:

He was a man interested in the arts, culture, education, language, history... It is beyond comprehension that the president has sought to rename this great memorial.

C’mon my fellow Americans! Wake up! This is not dignified. This is not funny... It’s downright weird.

Space news is the best. Like, what do you mean there's a runaway supermassive black hole 10 million times bigger than the sun moving through space at 2 million miles per hour www.space.com/astronomy/bl...
James Webb Space Telescope confirms 1st 'runaway' supermassive black hole rocketing through 'Cosmic Owl' galaxies at 2.2 million mph: 'It boggles the mind!'
"The forces that are needed to dislodge such a massive black hole from its home are enormous."

paywall so i didn't read, but a long time tigers fan. keeping Skub & hoping young talent steps up around him leaves them where they currently are, a good team on the cusp with a payroll issue for a decade. small/med size markets are essentially the minor leagues for talent to the major mkt teams.

They should at least be docked for days not worked due to the leader’s direction
Marjorie Taylor Greene's resigning in time to get a pension is a lesson to everyone.

Most Americans don't get *any* pension anymore, but Congress gave itself a pension after only five years of work.

Our "representatives" aren't working for us, they are [barely] working for themselves.

yikes
The US may be much more exposed to tariff impacts than implied by the relatively small percent of trade to GDP. That's the conclusion of several papers and speeches at the Boston Fed's economic conference today. The result may be a more persistent stagflationary impact on jobs and growth....

Job postings close to pre-pandemic level but data masks underlying weakness. Wage posting up 2.5%, weak & below current inflation. Tends to lead by about 6 mos. Pockets of shortages in areas dominated by immigrants. Not zero sum. Foreign- & native- born complement instead substitute for each other.

this deal sucks. however, if this is what it is then the "DEM bill" should be the singular issue of ACA subsidies extension. don't add anything to it that would open the door for republicans to vote no. make them vote against healthcare
Dems have spent the past two months saying they're fighting to address the crisis of spiking healthcare costs and now they're caving for a deal that does nothing to address healthcare costs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
