Never. A. Good. Sign.
Good lord
It’s never a good sign when the United States’ national security plan is praised by Russia as being “largely consistent with our vision”…

As those of us born and raised in Indiana understand, there is an independent streak in the Hoosier State that doesn’t take kindly to being backed into a corner. Like a badger, it’s unwise to do so to a Hoosier…

I believe this is true—what we don’t know is how long the damage they’ve inflicted will last once they are out of power
Donald Trump is a dinosaur. And his cultists are part of a dying breed. Yes, they are having their moment in power. But the world is changing and their white supremacy vision will not endure.

I never in my life thought I’d see the Berlin Wall fall—or Indiana University football 13-0 and #1 in both end of the regular season polls! What a year to be an Indiana fan…

I replaced all three windshield wipers on my nearly 20-year old 2006 Toyota Highlander and I feel like I’ve made a major accomplishment for the day.

Me either. Me. Either.
No matter how long I live after we get through this dark chapter, I will never get over the immorality, the amorality, the corruption, the criminality and the cruelty in service to one of the worst humans to ever walk the earth.

Times like these makes me miss:
George Carlin, Katharine Graham, Tim Russert, Molly Ivins, Ben Bradlee to name a few

Imagine if they used their current power to team up with others to work together to end the madness.
PUNCHBOWL: “.. GOP members messaged us over the weekend saying that they, too, are considering retiring in the middle of the term. Here’s one particularly exercised senior House Republican:

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

This guy would defend the devil—and arguably has
Mike Johnson expresses concern that requiring the Epstein files to come out "could ruin the reputations of completely innocent people, such as those who may just have known Epstein but knew nothing of his crimes or whose names he exploited and used to try to get close to his intended victims."

This is it in a nutshell. Nothing is better. Everything is worse
Trump and his voters have put us through so much pain and not one of his supporters has a higher paying job or cheaper healthcare or a better education for their children or new roads or sidewalks or hospitals...

Nothing is better. Everything is demonstrably worse.

Unless you’ve been in a coma, I don’t know how one couldn’t think this is exactly it would cause given whose in charge of the country right now
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: "I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are."

Increasingly feels like we’re seeing what it’s like to back a wounded badger into a corner—dangerous times ahead I think before we punch our way out of this national nightmare
November 15, 2025 at 5:45 AM
Wooboy. This is gonna get a whole lot worse, isn’t it folks?
Thomas Massie to CNN on the Epstein files: "This vote is gonna be on your record for longer than Trump is gonna be president. And what are you gonna do in 2028 and 2030 when you're in a debate … and they say, 'How can we trust you? You covered up for a pedophile back in 2025.'"

Well, then Democrats in the Senate need to replace the Whip, who was a yes—and the Minority Leader, who can’t fight on his toes
Schumer: "However this vote turns out, this fight will and must continue. Democrats must fight."
November 10, 2025 at 2:19 AM
Correct. And the Democratic Whip was a yes (Durbin). They both need to go
If Schumer thinks a no vote will absolve him of responsibility, he’s dead wrong. He’s the minority leader. It‘s his job to keep Senate Dems in line — or to hand over the job to someone who can.

Deservedly so
Trump and Hegseth booed mercilessly for 2 minutes straight tonight by Washington Commanders fans.

Exactly right
Any Democrat in Congress who would accept a promise from a Republican in Congress should undergo a cognitive test.
November 10, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Schumer (and Jeffries, perhaps) may need to go. They’re not up to the task. We need fresh, bold leadership
