Drew, I started ignoring the Saints after the Minneapolis Miracle and still waiting for @secretbase.bsky.social to do a COLLAPSE on the franchise because they ain't been shit since 2009. I am glad to be off that narcotic (to steal a line from Bomani Jones) living here in central Iowa.

I saw the story this morning. I'm still wondering how much alcohol was consumed when they decided to go after Derek Carr to replace Drew Brees? Loomis is the longest-tenured GM in the NFL right now, and that's saying a lot. I still wish they'd nuke it all from orbit and start from scratch.

Someone I trusted allowed their FB account to spam me on Telegram, causing me to lose my original Telegram account in the process nearly 3 years ago. So I don't use them as much anymore. (There doesn't seem to be a way to recover one's TG account, apparently.) And that person I no longer speak to.

I agree. If and when Discord, Telegram or even BlueSky or Signal no longer offer what I need, I'll ditch them. I don't see it happening anytime soon, and I hope it doesn't. 🤞

There are people still on Twitter who aren't on BlueSky. At this stage in my life, trying to hop between one service or another (and hoping others follow) is a waste of my time. Kinda why I ditched Mastodon ages ago.

I seem to not have the issues others do with Discord. Telegram is where most of the spam seems to show up. YMMV.

I fear the same things when it's time to replace stuff on my '09 Chevy HHR. Not the parts, but the labor. (My car's battery is in the back of the vehicle, hidden near the spare tire.)
