Spotted at the nearby HyVee in West Des Moines after I got done with my queer support group. They also had a LOT (I mean, a fuck ton) of stickers of the susuwatari, or the 'soot sprites' (from the Hayao Miyazaki movies) all over their Subaru. I think they actually work in the store! ^__^

I am a firm believer that we had a version of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. I went here during my junior year of high school.
Oh, yeah: I had an IEP when I was in elementary school down in Louisiana. Did the research to figure out that I was tested for autism in the late '70s.

Saw parakeets at Petco in West Des Moines when I got my cat a toy laser (it looks like a fish, recharges via USB and cost $10). One lady had her conure, stiff and motionless. Bereft of life, it rest in peace. Joined the choir invisible. Not pining for the fjords. I felt sorry for her.
