To be honest, I like both Edmund Burke and Josh Shapiro. But I have some questions about this assertion! I suppose it's possible that Burke would have counted Shapiro among the "very respectable persons of the Jewish nation, whom we will keep..." www.ourcivilisation.com/smartboard/s...

This actually sounds more like incompetent prosecuting than jury nullification. Though ... why not both, I guess www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...

Ummm, without in anyway defending Neuhaus, Kevin Roberts obviously knew what Roberts—in Roberts' own voice—said in the video before they posted it! Maybe... look inward?https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/11/06/heritage-foundation-tucker-carlson/

The Cuomo supporter/MAGA backlash against Sliwa is ridiculous for like a million reasons, but the most obvious is that (at least currently) Mamdani HAS A MAJORITY! If every single Sliwa voter had instead voted for Cuomo, Mamdani would *still* be winning by ~35K votes.

Trump said a reason to nuke the filibuster is changing voting rules. Today, Leavitt made clear they are contemplating a future where Dens never regain power: "We know that Democrats, when they—IF THEY—are ever given a chance at power again in this city, they will absolutely take away the filibuster"

There was a time when Hot Air was a generally useful and even insightful source of conservative news analysis. These days, they are running this incredible "Editor's Note"

Leaving aside for the moment the (important) questions of whether this argument can win an election and whether we should want it to, it's just incredibly toxic for the Palestinian rights movement. You are really OK with one of the most visible left-wing Israel critics having a Nazi-ish tattoo?

Also, this is weird. Whatever one thinks of what Abrams and O'Rourke have done since November 6, 2018, they both came reasonably close to winning those races. Should Dems not have sunk money into those races? Were there other candidates who clearly would have done better? Who?

The Daily Caller would like you to know that the "CBS shake-down is long overdue." (The newsletter itself makes clear they meant "shake up," but the malapropism is obviously more accurate.)
